With over 300 years of combined security, military and law enforcement experience, our security personnel consist of active and retired law enforcement officers, active and retired military personnel and professional men and women.
1st Choice Security, LLC is licensed and bonded through the City of Salina, KS, and is in good standing with the State of Kansas. We are also insured through a local agency. Each employee has passed the required background check with the Kansas Bureau of Investigations. This is also checked on a yearly basis.
We strive to maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients, and provide a visible deterrent for property crimes, crime against the client including criminal mischief, making graffiti, larceny, burglary, criminal tampering, trespass, criminal trespass, and misapplication of property.
Our mission is to provide a professional service to our clientele in both appearance and conduct, not only while performing our duties but in our personal lives as well.
Owners A.V. Plank and Jeff Parker, not only coordinate client needs, but actively work security detail for clients. A.V. was an officer with the Salina Police Department for 25 years until his retirement in 2013. Jeff retired from the Saline County Sheriffs Office after 15+ years, then led a security team at a private corporate business for 20+ years.
